I've been with iStorage for a few months now and genuinely haven't been more satisfied with my experience in renting from a storage facility. Michael is extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable and very informed. I 100% recommend going to this location especially if you live in the Fountain City/Halls area.

Michael is always friendly whenever I've had to call for help. there's never been a problem storing my stuff here. there's security cameras so that makes me feel safer about leaving my stuff here. and if I happen to forget to make my payment michael always gives me a courtesy call! Michael, the property manager, was very helpful, initially called me before i even finished my reservation for a possible unit asking if i had any questions or if i needed any help. I was honestly surprised when it happened but it was a relief as well, since i did have a few questions i needed answered. Not to mention he was very patient with me. My climate controlled unit is in good condition and I had all my things moved in swiftly. I rented the unit and it was almost immediate getting everything I needed settled to move in. Thanks!

Renting a storage unit for my mom. Charles is AMAZING!! Very nice and answered all of my questions. If I could change anything or make a suggestion it would be to have better handicap parking. When my father retired 10 years ago, he decided to put his stuff in storage and move to a foreign country. He figured he’d be back sooner than later, so he literally left everything he owned in a 10x30 storage unit and departed on his big adventure with nothing more than his camera and a suitcase of clothes and necessities. Nine years later, his stuff is still there, but he has since passed. Having worked in the storage industry before, I was dreading the legal hoops that I knew we were going to have to jump through, to gain access to his items. To make matters more difficult, I live several states away, and had only two days available in my schedule where I could make the 7 hour trip (each way), have the lock cut on his unit, go through everything, pack it all up, and get it back to my home. So, I called the store and had to leave a voicemail. Great. I knew I’d be lucky to get a call back within 24 hours and I would already be there by then. Minutes later, my phone rang, and it was the General Manager, Jim, returning my call. I explained my situation and advised him that I would be there the following morning. He gave me an email address to send the proper, required, legal documentation to and assured me that he would get this submitted for approval immediately, and would even follow up with a phone call to his Manager to ensure the process had begun on their end. He called me several times to update me, and ask for additional information, and sure enough, I had my approval and was on my way to Tennessee within hours. When I arrived he was in the office ready to cut the lock for me and then open the unit for me. Other than a few cobwebs, My father’s stuff was exactly in the same state as he had left it nine years prior. I couldn’t believe it. At this point, Jim asked me if I would like a couple of extra boxes that he had just emptied in the process of restocking his office supplies. Absolutely! We returned to the office (which was well stocked with supplies, and was even nice and warm on this cold rainy day). I bought a lock and packing tape, and then he offered to carry the boxes to my car for me. He made sure to mention that there was a restroom on-site for customer use, and showed us where it was located (the restroom was spotless and smelled clean. Thank you!) I truly can’t tell you how much I appreciated how friendly, professional and calm he was the entire time. I wasn’t exactly in a great space (mentally or emotionally) after a long, stressful drive, I wasn’t coping very well with the dread of the task in front of me, now that I had finally arrived (anyone who has been thru this, I’m sure you can relate). When I tell you that he not only took care of me as his customer, by doing his job, he went well above the call of duty by treating me with such kindness and grace. He was cool and collected. Efficient. He never once seemed to take it personally that I was so obviously stressed. He was amazing. I can’t put into words just how grateful I am for all that he did to assist me with my situation, and for turning my foul mood into a great mood. I can honestly say that if I owned a business I would want him to run it. I’m completely sold on him and officially a fan. So much so, that I am writing this book of a compliment at 348 AM. I’m exhausted. I have to work in 4 hours. The last thing I want to do is stay awake another moment, but I am compelled to acknowledge such amazing customer service and support by this man. Thank you Jim. You were a lifesaver!

This is a good place to store your stuff but don't follow your GPS it took us down a narrow dead end street that we then had to back the whole way down with a large trailer. Not a fun time at all. I suggested an edit for the entrance but it still has not been approved yet.

I am a student nearby at UT Knoxville and am changing apartments this summer. Instead of moving everything home for a couple weeks and then moving it all back, my roommates and I decided to rent a storage unit. I was greeted by Mary Anne, who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the registration process. She then gave me a tour of the grounds and made sure to answer any questions I had about their facility. I feel very safe about leaving our things there and it is even more assuring that the staff is so friendly!

I've been renting from CubeSmart on Walker Boulevard for several years, and I've never been more impressed with a manager in any company than I am with Maryanne. Case in point: I've been trying to coordinate the consolidation of several units into one for about a year, and her help has proven invaluable. The balancing act of trying to find an available climate-controlled unit at a time when I could reasonably manage to move everything into it had me practically tearing my hair out, but Maryanne found a unit and helped me work out a doable schedule so that now everything is safely in one place, I honestly don't know how I would have managed this overwhelming task (coming on the heels of having to close a business and empty out a house, hence the multiple storage units) had I not had such a capable, caring FRIEND as Maryanne helping me navigate the process. She is a jewel!

Recently I had checked out this storage facility when we were closing on our house and was impressed with this location. The lady who helped me, Mary Ann I think was her name, was very personable and sweet and the units were pretty nice! I actually felt bad that we ended up closing on our house in time and not needing to use the facility! Just wanted to share my positive experience. It's not everday that you find good customer service nowadays.

My partner and I have rented from this location for over a year now and couldn't be happier with our experience. Mary Anne is an absolute pleasure to work with. She goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed. if she happens to be outside when you arrive she waves and smiles like her best friend has arrived. I have rented storage from this location since June of 2012. The staff has always been very accommodating and helpful. You never feel like you are a bother to them and the new manager has been especially courteous with the change over to Storage Pros. She allowed me time to get into the facility to get the new paperwork completed and went over everything in detail. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of storage space.

I began as a customer when this facility was still Cube Smart. I was happy with the facility and location but disappointed with the former manager. I was happy to learn when Storage Pros bought this facility they promoted MaryAnne to manager. She has always been extremely friendly and helpful with any of my needs at the facility.
