Is There Anything I Can't Store?

Prohibited items include perishable goods, living things, illegal or illegally obtained items, hazardous or flammable materials, weapons and ammunition, and items that violate local, state, or federal laws.

How can I pay my rent each month for my storage unit?

Access hours are the times when our customers can access their units and either load or unload them. Access hours typically have a wider range than office hours. Office hours are the hours our office is open for business. Things that you may need to do during office hours include paying rent– should you opt to pay in person– purchasing additional moving supplies, and transferring or vacating a unit.

I agree with previous reviews about management at this particular location - they provide excellent service and do their best to help. The facility itself is clean, accessible, and in a great location. I had no concerns about safety and security. However, I had to give 4 stars because the iStorage company itself is terrible. If I was only rating the central management company I would have given 1 star. Within 3 months of moving in they had already increased our rent 25% and continued increasing it over the next year. We were being charged much more than what was listed as the original price on their website and what other units in the area were charging. Their explanation was that this was the 'market rate' based on the longevity of the account and other factors. Basically, the longer you stay, the more they increase because they know its less likely you will move out. Customer service was unwilling to budge much on the cost, which ultimately led to us moving out. We also had negative experiences with customer service during move out, the agent told me there was no overnight parking allowed at all, which would have made our container move impossible. Thankfully, we were able to contact our specific location and found that this was not true.
