RightSpace Self Storage FAQ

Is there a minimum rental period?

All leases are month-to-month with no long-term commitment required. You can store for as little as one month or continue your storage for as long as you need, even if you’re not sure how long that is at this time.

What documents do I need to reserve a storage unit?

We require a state or government issued ID*, like a driver's license or passport, and a method to pay your first month’s rent and any other fees you may owe. We recommend enrolling in our autopay service using a credit card to ensure easy and convenient payment.

*See checkout process for details.

Is There Anything I Can't Store?

Prohibited items include perishable goods, living things, illegal or illegally obtained items, hazardous or flammable materials, weapons and ammunition, and items that violate local, state, or federal laws.

How can I pay my rent each month for my storage unit?

NSA Storage offers an easy-to-use online payment portal where tenants can set up autopay or make a one-time payment with any major credit or debit card. During office hours, we can process a payment with any major credit or debit cards, contactless payment, check, or money order. Please note that all our locations are cashless except where prohibited by state or local law.

What is the difference between access hours and office hours?

Access hours are the times when our customers can access their units and either load or unload them. Access hours typically have a wider range than office hours. Office hours are the hours our office is open for business. Things that you may need to do during office hours include paying rent– should you opt to pay in person– purchasing additional moving supplies, and transferring or vacating a unit.

I've been keeping my belongings at this storage facility since 1973. I've never had a problem here. They've got a couple of foxes that run around here. I guess that's plural for fox. They've got an owl that hangs out as well. I've seen a cat with a collar. What I have not seen is a mouse. That's not to say they don't exist round these parts. I think it would be a miracle if this was a storage unit that didn't have a single mouse in it but, since 1973, so far so good for me. I can't speak for everyone or everything but to me it seems the place is maintained well, considering. There was a light directly above my door that was out. I made a request to have that light replaced and right after I hit the submit button the light came on. That's service my friends. I think there's around 15 to 25 people that work up here. The only one I know of by name is Peggy or Becky or Betsy. She's the manager here. She's friendly. So far I've rented 368 storage units here. The price has always been competitive. The location is convenient. If you need to make a run to your storage unit daily like a lot of people do for work-related reasons or whatever, you can stop by the grocery store which is on the next block and pick up a quart of milk, a loaf of bread, and a stick of butter from there. There's a Dairy Queen right next to the storage place. If you're an early bird, there's donuts and breakfast tacos in the same strip as Pizza Hut which is right next door on the other side of the office. There's also a huge gym or fitness center right next to a Starbucks. I think it used to be at Kmart or a Sears. It's huge. Not the Starbucks, the fitness place. There's also a few clinics and a hospital nearby if you're into waiting rooms. Anyways, I'll be vacating soon but, I won't forget this place. It'll always be near and dear to me like the McRib, and like the McRib, I may return someday. Have fun people. Whatever you do, have fun. Thanks for reading. Y'all come back now, ya hear.?.
