Availability of unit sizes varies by location. Typically, storage units come in three categories:
Small storage units (5x5, 5x10, 5x15)- These are big enough to hold a few boxes and smaller furniture pieces, like bookshelves or end tables.
Medium storage units (10x10, 10x15)- These units can store up to two bedrooms' worth of furniture. Mattresses, dressers, and large boxes can usually fit.
Large storage units (10x20, 10x25, 10x30)- These are ideal for storing furniture from a small house or multi-bedroom apartment. Large appliances, sofas, and storage totes can be stored safely.

As someone who’s always been very skeptical of storage units, I found this location just around Andover and I had nothing bad to say so far. When I called and talked to the customer service reps to get it set up I do believe they were actually trained well, even if they were foreigners And I had no issues whatsoever. And when I finally made it out there, the woman working inside was just wonderful to deal with. She even called me to let me know that my girlfriend put both the locks on one gate and not one in the front and one in the back because there’s two ways to store your stuff. Just the attention to detail and the friendly call is something you just don’t get anymore so thank you. The inside of the unit was perfectly clean, well maintained and synced modern though not climate controlled. But I knew that from the start so I don’t see that as a down grade. We need more upbeat, positive people in this world, and when a stranger can make you smile at such a big deal when it comes to such an important thing that you’re dealing with so thank you again.
Kim at istorage was professional, polite, and efficient. Highly recommend! We needed to book another storage unit last minute, and we really appreciated the expedient support.
